Employment Pass (EP) + Dependant's Pass

Who it suits: professionals with a Singapore job

Main requirements

EP qualifying salary currently SGD 5,600/month (financial services SGD 6,200), rising with age to SGD 10,700 (11,800) at 45+; from 1 Jan 2027 new applications SGD 6,000 (6,600), up to SGD 11,500 (12,700). Must also pass COMPASS (40 points). Dependant's Pass needs fixed monthly salary of at least SGD 6,000.

Family: spouse and unmarried children under 21 on Dependant's Pass

School: ICA: Dependant's Pass / LTVP holders may enrol in any school without a separate Student's Pass.

Overseas Networks & Expertise (ONE) Pass

Who it suits: top earners / outstanding achievers

Main requirements

Assessed case by case; the candidate must meet all criteria in one category. (1) Current or last held employment: fixed monthly salary of at least S$30,000 (or foreign-currency equivalent) for the 12 consecutive months before applying, and (if applicable) 12 consecutive months with an established overseas company. (2) Prospective employment in Singapore: fixed monthly salary of at least S$30,000 with an established Singapore-based company; apply only when the job starts within 6 months. 'Established' = market capitalisation of at least US$500 million or annual revenue of at least US$200 million (global office combined, case by case). (3) Outstanding achievements in sports, arts and culture, or academia and research: no salary criterion; reviewed holistically by MOM with MCCY, MOE, NRF and A*STAR. (4) AI and Tech track, from 28 January 2027: at least S$30,000 a month for 12 consecutive months, of which the fixed monthly salary is at least S$22,500 (the rest may be vested ESOP/ESOW, subject to assessment); at least 5 cumulative years as founder/C-suite in a tech firm or in a technical role within the past 10 years; current or last employer a tech company, tech division or tech VC with valuation/market cap of at least US$500m, revenue of at least US$200m, AUM of at least US$500m, or (tech start-ups) at least US$30m raised. The S$30,000 must come from one employer. Existing pass holders must have worked in Singapore for at least 1 year. Renewal (5 years each time): average fixed monthly salary of at least S$30,000 over the past 5 years in Singapore, or running a Singapore company employing at least 5 locals each earning at least the prevailing EP minimum qualifying salary.

Family: Dependant's Pass: legally married spouse, and unmarried children under 21 (including legally adopted). Long-Term Visit Pass: common-law spouse, unmarried handicapped children 21 and above, unmarried stepchildren under 21, and parents of the pass holder. Spouses on DP or LTVP can apply for a Letter of Consent to work.

School: Children go on a Dependant's Pass (stepchildren on an LTVP). ICA: holders of a valid LTVP or Dependant's Pass are not required to obtain a Student's Pass and may enrol in any school.

How long: First-time candidates: up to 5 years. Renewals: up to 5 years each (MOM key facts). Renewal may be applied for up to 6 months before expiry.

Student's Pass + LTVP for parent/grandparent
